Your Role

At MilliporeSigma, the Shipping Operator will expedite shipments by coordinating activities of the site planner, packaging department, and operations supervisor to ensure a high level of customer service.

• Perform labeling, boxing, and shipping operations of materials and final products, including hazardous materials, according to applicable compliance and regulations.
• Review and assess all printed shipping labels for accuracy and integrity prior to use and perform final inspection on all shipped products to ensure customer quality expectations are met.
• Complete detail-oriented paperwork and computer transactions to support shipping and ERP systems and to complete and maintain DOT and IATA certifications.
• Responsible for receiving incoming materials and goods and control inventory movements and paperwork for the received materials while performing incoming inspections of materials and goods from critical suppliers to support supplier quality management.
• Complete the annual inventory of the facility.
• Maintain and ensure the accuracy of departmental SOPs.
• Perform backup operations in other departments as needed.
• Pay Rate: $18 - $20 / hour

Who You Are:

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• DOT and IATA Certifications
• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of SAPNext
