Job Summary:

We are looking for Production Operators to join our team in Carlisle, PA.

In this position, you will operate various types of production equipment. We will train dependable individuals with a desire to work as a part of a team in a successful and growing manufacturing company.

Compensation:

$ 22.00 to start, $ 24.70 after 6 months

$ .15 cents shift differential per hour while working 2nd shift

Profit sharing bonus

Schedule:

Rotating 1st and 2nd shift:

* While working 1st -- hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* While working 2nd -- hours are 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM

Monday -- Friday

Overtime frequently required

Job Responsibilities:

* Operate production machinery to maximize output of quality product.
* Retrieve and move raw material into place as required.
* Perform a variety of tasks to maintain the proper flow of materials throughout the plant.
* Provide coverage for a variety of manufacturing processes/equipment.
* Provide brief relief when applicable for breaks and lunch.
* Follow production schedules, oral and published job instructions, specifications and prescribed procedures.
* Detect, rectify as able, and report faulty operations, defective materials, or unusual conditions.
* Observe prescribed safety regulations.
* Keep count, tallies and records as required.
* Perform various other related or associated duties as required or directed.
* Participate in continuous improvement processes.
* Other production duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

* Preferred experience: At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
* Willingness to perform several jobs across different areas of the plant.
* Able to read and communicate with other employees.
* Willing and able to operate a forklift (we will train).
* Able to lift or move 50 lbs.
* Able to stand for 8 hours.
* Requires standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, pulling, and pushing.
* Able to pass 10-panel drug screening which includes testing for marijuana (medical marijuana card does not apply since these are safety sensitive positions).
* Able to pass pre-employment background screen that includes 7 year federal and county check.
