RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client seeking a Senior UX Design Manager in Boca Raton, FL.Summary:In this role, the Senior Design Manager responsible for leading a talented team of UX Designers. This is a lean, highly talented and multifaced UX team that designs for both consumer and employee-facing products. This role will also be responsible for developing, mentoring, and training individual contributors to ensure department work performance and objectives are met. The Senior UX Design Manager knows the art of the possible on how to lead projects and make stuff happen in a complex, crossfunctional organization. This position reports into the Sr Director of UX. Responsibilities:

• Lead UI/UX on major programs as a practitioner and provide oversight/direction to other designers on the program
• Mentor and lead junior and senior designers, guide projects, inspire through example, infuse design passion and help build a strong team
• Partner with the Design System team and evolve and grow our Design System called -Nebula- to new and exciting horizons and drive adoption and usage of the System in the engineering organization
• Design with empathy for the end user, seeking to understand the full context of use and driving to define meaningful UX that improves peoples lives
• Work with user research teams to plan and coordinate contextual research, support with necessary assets, interpret test results and incorporate into design activity
• Contribute IxD knowledge and experience to product development projects
• Lead client relationships and effectively represent Design in partner communications
• Give presentations and lead internal in key project milestones
• Execute work consistent with design systems and brand standards, analytics insight, and customer and user feedback
• Coach and mentor engineers other disciplines who work with your team to create user-centered experiences, including PMs, marketers, developers, and researchers

REQUIREMENTS:

• Four-year college degree required (or equivalent)
• 7-10+ years of UX/UI/Product Design experience in a professional setting required (school experience not included)
• 3-4+ years of direct people management experience in a Agile Product Development environment
• 1-2+ years of Design Systems experience, either directly developing it or managing a team that worked on Design systems
• Ability to define, architect and implement UX solutions based on stakeholders' requirements and designs
• Highly proficient with FIGMA and FIGMA world of plug-ins
• Experience with Slack, Microsoft Office, Atlassian products (Confluence, Jira, Trello)
• Up to date on latest UX trends to help apply them to new features
• Experience with usability testing and analyzing user feedback and behavior
• Capable of consulting with business and engineering to develop achievable solutions that meet business needs
• Must own duties that evolve from wireframes to prototypes to finished digital products
• Familiarity with agile methodology and scrum ceremonies
• Must be extremely organized detail-oriented
• Ability to communicate and articulate ideas to project stakeholders
• Ability to stay organized and calmly manage multiple projects
• Understanding of accessibility standards in product design experiences is a plus
• A huge plus if you also know how to develop, mature and increase the adoption and usage of a Design System across engineering and product organizations
