Senior Systems Analyst

Provides leadership and coordination of IT department teams and project teams, under limited supervision; performs advanced systems analyst activities and makes recommendations in areas that require a high level of technical competency; organizes and executes projects; participates in vendor evaluation, design, development, implementation and management of multiple projects; provides technical direction and supervision to lower level staff in the development, implementation and maintenance of systems; provides computer systems administration and support, analyzes, creates, documents, tests, maintains, troubleshoots and problem solves; works directly with IT administration in creating IT standards, quality management practices and defining customer priorities.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems or a related field and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time experience in programming or packaged systems implementation and support.
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
The preferred candidate will have experience in using novel processes and procedures to resolve business system and workflow issues, have software development experience and experience with providing technical training to end uses and mentoring to other staff.
