Position Summary
Senior Statistician & Data Visualization Developer employs statistics, programming, technology, and data management techniques to prepare, transform, and analyze institutional data and construct exploratory, explanatory, and predictive statistical models. The position identifies areas in which analytics and visualization have potential to yield insight about University fundraising and pipeline development; designs and conducts research projects; and interprets research findings and makes recommendations to support planning and development within the Universitys Advancement unit.
The Senior Statistician and Data Visualization Developer also supports the Advancement Strategic Analytics & Prospect Development team by responding to ad hoc requests for information, developing dashboards and visualizations to communicate prospect development and fundraising data, and training and reviewing the work of Business Analysts and Prospect Development Analysts to ensure the integrity of reporting and research functions.
The Senior Statistician & Data Visualization Developer will be a leader in fostering strategic, collaborative, and sustainable fundraising practices at the University of Denver. The Senior Statistician & Data Visualization Developer must have the ability to offer consultative support and develop new reports and processes that are accurate, clear, accessible, and replicable.

Salary Grade Number:
The salary grade for the position is 11.
Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is $70,000-$80,000.
The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidates sex or any other protected status.
