The Stellantis Artificial Intelligence Operations and Algorithms team is recruiting a Senior Staff Engineer to design & build the Camera Instrumentation Architecture in our prototype vehicle test fleet. This is a hands on role working directly to design & build vehicles to collect high resolution raw sensor data using state of the art data logging systems. You will be responsible for:

  • Development of the camera sensing architecture strategy for data used to train in-house developed AI algorithms
  • Functional partition of sensing functions between sensor head, zonal controllers, and high performance compute platform
  • Collaboration with the Tier 1 and Tier 2 supply base to identify candidate sensor components and subcomponents (image sensor, ISP, etc.)
  • Perform benchmarking and PoCs
  • Develop high resolution camera systems for data collection
  • Configure and integrate camera systems into data collection benches and vehicles

Image Sensor FAE, Camera Systems Designer from Tier 1. As part of the Stellantis Software Organization (SWX) you will develop vehicle instrumentation that will generate the high quality datasets used to develop cutting edge AI algorithms for environmental perception and path planning. You will work closely with other engineers and scientists creating the foundation of the Stellantis 14 Brand AI portfolio.
