We are located in the Boston, MA area and we are a leading electrical manufacturing company that has been in business for over 20 years with over 500 employees nationwide. We make mission critical measure and detection devices that are used in a variety of industries from automotive to public utilities. We work with some of the most cutting edge technology in our space and continue to innovate.

This Senior Software Engineer would be working heavily with C++ and start by MFC enhancing and supporting on a legacy UI. Ideally this person has extensive experience with C++ and some recent work with MFC. We develop Linux and Windows based software for innovative scientific/industrial instruments and can ensure the work will not get stale or boring!

What You Will Be Doing -Developing code in C++ and start by MFC enhancing and supporting on a legacy UI
-Develop Linux and Windows based software for innovative scientific/industrial instruments
-Initially work on a portable gas detection/measuring device
-Collaborate with other developers on improvements and enhancements
What You Need for this Position At least 4-5 years of experience with:

- C++
- MFC
- Embedded development

Nice to haves:

-Experience working on portable devices
- UI development
- Experience working on legacy code
