Senior Scientist - Small Molecule Formulation Direct-hire opportunity for a Senior Scientist with a focus on preformulation and formulation of small molecules.

*Salary:* Estimated $110-160K base + 10-15% annual bonus + pre-IPO stock options

What You Need for this Position PHD with relevant experience in formulation development of small molecules
... or... MS + 5 years' relevant experience and ability to contribute at a Scientist level
What You Will Be Doing PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pre-clinical formulation development of small molecules using spray-dried dispersion and/or or hot melt extrusions
- Explore novel ways to increase throughput and rapidly identify promising ASDs and formulation prototypes
- Contribute to clinical dosage formulation development for ph I/II (solid oral dosage tablets, etc.)

ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
- Work closely with Medicinal Chemistry, CMC, Biology, DMPK, and Pharmacology
- Manage external vendors for drug product, drug substance, and/or clinical supply chain, with support from CMC Director
- Explore novel ways to improve suspension development and improve polymer screening for spray dried dispersions
- Establish work-flows to create more efficient long-term dosing
