What You Will Be Doing - Manage pre-construction development, such as managing all consultants.
- Preparing and defining the project scope of work, financial plan, its goals and deliverables.
- Tracking project deliveries using project management tools.
- Coordinating directly and indirectly with project staff to ensure successful completion of the project
- Directing, supervising, supporting and coordinating the project team members/staff.
- Communicating intensively with clients, sub-contractors and vendors to establish cordial/effective working relationship.
- Reporting on project progress and communicated relevant information to superiors and company management.
- Provide training and oversight to subordinates.
- Other duties as assigned or needed.
What You Need for this Position - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field of study
- 5+ years of GC-level experience in high-end commercial construction (preferably, with demonstrated experience on projects up to $20 MIL+)
- Must have 3+ years' minimum supervisory experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction (preferably with demonstrated experience in new construction projects in the hotel/resort, winery, hospitality, and multifamily markets)
- Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint, Bluebeam, and Procore.
- Proficient at reading plans and specifications for all trades.
