What You Will Contribute:
Sr. Engineer acts as new product development project engineer or as a project lead engineer for other projects. Acts as a mentor to other engineers.


    Duties, Responsibilities, Accountabilities:
    • Acts as NPD or other Project lead engineer
    • Ensures company procedures are followed (self and mentees)
    • Defines the scope of a task/project
    • Develops or provide input to schedules and budgets
    • Executes to schedule/budget to meet targets
    • Defines and controls product designs
    • Directly responsible for product/process performance
    • Acts as a mentor to other engineers
    • Manages business system entries - BOM, routing, item master
    • Manages engineering change processes
    • May be accountable to lead Project Manager or Principle Engineer


    Qualifications:
    • 7+ years of experience
    • Strong product knowledge (across multiple products)
    • Strong design and analytics skills
    • Ability to define the resources and time to complete projects
    • Independently solve problems and implement solutions
    • Ability to determine risk and define mitigation methods
    • Communicate status and solutions to management
    • Advanced foundation of engineering fundamentals
    • Ability to generate basic financial/business justifications
    • Bachelor or possibly an advanced degree/certification
    • Ability to work effectively in a multi-discipline team
    • Demonstrates ability to drive projects to completion
    • Ability to work autonomously and self-directed
    • Demonstrates appropriate Judgement / decision making / for their level of authority
    • Demonstrates expertise in at least 1 product and/or discipline


    Mechanical:
    • Advanced level of skill with DOE (Design of Experiments), Material Properties, Test Plan development, and Hydraulic/Fluid Dynamics
    • Intermediate level of skill with FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) and CREO
    • Experience in Design For Automated Assembly a plus
