Job Summary

The Senior Manager, HR Reporting and HRIS will focus on providing meaningful HR data insights that will translate into greater knowledge and HR business decisions. The ideal candidates able to bring the data to life through storytelling with data, Market insights and good business acumen in partnership with Data Analytics team.

We are looking for someone who can build Ad Hoc reports, analyze, and interpret a diverse set of HR confidential data and processes that will lead to a people strategy incorporating workforce talent insights, market trends and business intelligence.

Job Description
  • Provide Reports to the business using either the tools available or implementing new tools that will arm managers with strategic information that drive smart business decisions.
  • Responsible for maintaining or improving the systems and processes in place, to ensure good data management practices and move the function into a space where predictive analysis is relied on to make decision related to HR and DE&I functions.
  • Partner with HR, IT and other colleagues and clients to solve complex problems using innovative methods to collect and analyze internal HR and DE&I data, compare it to relevant industry data and identify insights and solutions.
  • Collaborate with Data Analytics team to Develop dash board related to our newly launched Employee center and help HR team to optimize our way of working and Operational Processes by providing relevant insight.
  • Drive smarter business decisions by designing metrics, testing hypotheses, support development of dashboards and delivery methods that will supply insights in both automated and targeted ways for HR and DE&I data.
  • Provide consultative approach that engages and builds relationships with relevant internal/external stakeholders including Global HR stakeholders, leading to data-driven decision making for HR leadership and Executives.
  • Partner with Data Technologies and Analytics team for HR Analytics needs.
  • Manage the performance of Otsuka's HR technology vendors to ensure systems are maintained and integrated as necessary with each other and/or with other internal/external systems.
  • Identify system enhancements that will improve process or data capture and implement and execute on those HRIS initiatives.
  • Develop and execute the HRIS and Reporting strategy for all our employee efforts and HR priorities.
  • Analyze and present data in a way that encourages a creative and collaborative approach to interpreting the information and helps proactively address business needs.
  • Partner with Data Analytics team to Design, build and automate key HR metrics, measurements, and reports in collaboration with IT Analytics team stakeholders and business leaders.
  • Provide HRBP's with information needed to influence leaders to act based on predictive people analytics, insights identified, and recommendations made.
  • Collaborate with Data Analytics team to develop reports and dashboard that provide structure to ambiguous and complex issues.
  • Lead talent research projects including data collection and statistical analysis.
  • Actively coach and develop team of HRIS and reporting professionals.
  • Leverage existing HRIS platforms to execute standard reports for business requirements.
  • Create data audit reports and support development of dashboards to ensure system data accuracy.
  • Manage and support ad-hoc reporting projects as needed.
  • Develop, conduct and administrate organize wide People surveys.
  • Develop reports and provide insight to leadership team based on survey results data.


Qualifications/ Required

Knowledge/ Experience and Skills:
  • Strong business and system analytics thinking, as well as technical, analytical, and hands-on execution skills are required
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Strong project management skills, ability to multitask by handling multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong familiarity of Workday and other reporting tools (i.e. Power BI, Tableau )
  • Fundamental process knowledge of HR processes and employee lifecycle management from recruitment to offboarding
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving, analytical, negotiating, and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrates Learning Agility
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple resources including direct reports and external vendors
  • Ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to communicate effectively through presentations
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)


Preferred:
  • Experience using Workday or Workday Prism
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical tools/languages such as SAS, SPSS, R
  • Functional experience in Compensation, Benefits, Talent and DE&I
  • Knowledge of Software as a Solution (SaaS) solutions and technology business models
  • Knowledge of the professional services industry is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience with HR technology or Reporting is preferred.


Educational Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's Degree and demonstrated functional and technical management experience

Preferred:
  • Master's Degree and demonstrated compensation or financial management experience
