The Senior Human Resources Professional works fully independently in developing and managing the OIT onboarding process, and managing varying functions of the ongoing efforts of recruitment and employee retention alongside the HR Manager

We are looking for someone that can effortlessly manage multiple projects, priorities, and people and can calmly and confidently change gears on the fly.     Work fully independently in developing and managing the OIT onboarding process, and manage varying functions of the ongoing efforts of recruitment and employee retention Ensure the success of day-to-day operations by providing support and consultation to all levels of the organization. Act as the primary departmental subject matter expert on the HCM system and other related and integrated HR software and systems (HireRight, MyLeave, Teams, Sharepoint, Formstack, Qualtrics, Smartsheets, DocuSign, Excel Spreadsheets) Help build a cohesive department through supporting recruiting efforts and promoting the OIT culture
  • Actively support CU Anschutz's commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, supporting and ensuring compliance with policies

Qualifications:

Senior HR Professional

Minimum Qualifications:
    Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, communications, or other related field. 2-4 years' experience in business administration operations or human resources.

Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in human resources or business administration or closely related field 2 years of human resources operations experience 2 years of higher education experience 2 years of experience with PeopleSoft HRMS PHR/SHRM Certification

Intermediate HR Professional

Minimum Qualifications:
    Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, communications, or other related field. 1-2 years' experience in business administration operations or human resources.

Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in human resources or business administration or closely related field 1 year of human resources operations experience 1 year of higher education experience 1 year of experience with PeopleSoft HRMS

This position may require some occasional weekend and evening assignments as well as occasional availability during off-hours for participation in both scheduled and unscheduled activities.

This position is eligible for a hybrid of remote and on-campus work locations. AMC OIT strives for a high-flex work environment, meaning although this role can predominately be executed effectively with a remote schedule, there may be instances where in-person meetings and/or activities are needed. There is no minimum or prescribed in-person requirement. The work schedule will be based around core working hours in Colorado Mountain Time.

Must be willing and able to travel between campuses (Denver Campus and Anschutz Medical Campus)

Anticipated Salary Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as:
    Professional: $47,437 - $55,000 Senior: $51,283 - $61,785

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation depending on the level.
