  • Perform all duties that pertain to EPSi (decision support system) monthly processing and adheres to monthly processing deliverables by business day deadlines, this includes reconciliations to source systems and within our existing decision support system.
  • Quarterly detail data integrity audits of department and patient database costs, identifies issues, implement solutions, verify results within the designated time frame
  • Acts as a liaison to entity for all decision support system related issues, data needs, and updates
  • Plans and facilitates monthly entity meetings.
  • Analyzes and reports on our costs to understand our cost structure and its drivers
  • Works with teams to identify cost opportunities. Acts as liaison, problem solver, and facilitator. Cultivates and reinforces appropriate group values, norms, and behaviors.
  • Works with IS, Accounting and Budget office to facilitate the production and receipt of all appropriate actual and budget data feeds on a timely basis.
  • Understand the relationships between the modules within the decision support system
  • Understand and can communicate all aspects of flexible budget reporting
  • Update procedure documentation as needed for process improvements identified
  • Monthly and Quarterly reports completed accurately and on-time
  • Manages customer/system user request independently
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any interfacing data discrepancies that arise during processing
  • Reconcile and update clinical department cost standards, monitor data by performing multiple trend analysis, make recommendations for solutions.
  • Provide analytical support for special projects or data requests
  • Demonstrate commitment to Service Excellence
  • Prepare presentations and ad hoc reports for support for special projects or data requests


Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Operations Research, Public Health Administration, or other related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 1+ years experience in financial analysis and/or management operations/project management, preferably within a health care and or financial environment
SKILLS/ ABILITIES/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
  • Ability to work within a complex, multi-site environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong analytic and problem solving skills
  • Ability to cooperatively and effectively work with people from various organizational levels within MGB and with our entity contacts.
  • Strong PC / Microsoft office skills required
  • Accepts responsibility for work and strives to maintain data integrity
  • Demonstrates time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrates technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot problems
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent follow up and thoroughness
  • May require travel to entities
