Mission

As a Levy Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for providing The Levy Difference in accounting services to internal and external guests and suppliers. Results are achieved by implementing effective internal controls and efficient processes, through leadership and management skills, and by living our visions and values

Major Areas of Responsibility

Operations

  • Supports company initiatives within the department
  • Has strong attention to detail
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients, guests, subcontractors, not-for-profits and Levy team members
  • Maintains positive relationships with internal and external guests, and ensures prompt response and resolution to all guest inquiries
  • Acts as a liaison with team, including partner's operational team, Levy team and other areas as needed to ensure efficient operational performance
  • Maintains accurate and efficient filing of financial archive files and data
  • Completes all projects in a timely and professional manner

Controls

  • Thoroughly and accurately uses applicable Levy systems (Purchasing Systems, Point-of-sale, WFM and more)
  • Ensures required department reports are completed and information is compiled at month end closing
  • Ensures team members adhere to Levy Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook
  • Completes assigned MAP objectives to achieve Financial Services goals
  • Manages payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable process
  • Ensures all payroll information is accurate and submitted on a timely basis
  • Ensures all sales reports and financial statements are accurate prior to distribution
  • Clearly communicates financial results to management on a regular basis
  • Ensures Core Signature standards are maintained for all accounting functions
  • Provides accurate and targeted financial analysis as requested

Team

  • Staffs department to meet operational needs
  • Uses all performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team
  • Displays a positive attitude towards team members
  • Promotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale
  • Interviews, hires, trains and develops team members according to Levy guidelines

Job Requirements

  • English reading, writing, math and computer skills required
  • Must be able to reach, lift, stoop, bend and perform extensive standing and walking (including stairs) throughout shift
  • May be required to perform diverse physical tasks
  • Possible hazards include, but are not limited to; slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts and strains
  • Stamina to work 60 hours or more per week.
  • Must be flexible with schedule, able to work different shifts
  • Ability to use hands in using office equipment, including the computer system
  • Ability to talk and hear to conduct phone correspondence
  • Close vision and focus capabilities to view computer screen and company documents
