What You Will Be Doing -Lead a group of Contracts professionals in a few locations and businesses with the full range of management responsibilities to include:

-Resource planning, staffing, employee training and development, and performance management
-Lead, mentor, coach and advise contracts professionals
-Review, draft and negotiate a variety of complex agreements, including Firm Fixed Price/ Fixed Price Incentive Fee (FFP)/(FPIF), Cost Plus Award Fee/ Cost Plus Incentive Fee (CPAF/CPIF), Cost Plus Fixed Fee/ Time and Materials (CPFF/T&M) and hybrid contract types


-Serve as subject matter expert and advise internal clients on contract requirements and implications to FAR, DFARS, and Export and Import control.
-Advise internal clients to ensure efficient work flow and execution of agreements working with; Business Development, Program Management, Engineering, Finance, and Contracts for execution of agreements.
-Work with and ensure all agreements and supporting document are properly filed.
-Work to ensure compliance with prime contract flow downs.
-Subject Matter Expert for management of audits for large, complex contracts.
What You Need for this Position 8++ years experience in Contract Management and with Government contracts in the Defense and Aerospace industry.
BS or BA degree in Business, legal or applicable field required

-Strong leadership and proven experience with Contract Management and overseeing a team
-Major contract terms and condition negotiations
-Secret clearance and ability to get Top Secrete Clearance.
