The Senior Collection Analyst is responsible for identifying impediments to prompt payments, developing an action plan for problem resolution and following up to ensure solution is reached and payment is received. Ensuring all invoices are submitted to finance company in a timely manner, along with any specifically required documentation such as signed delivery reports, battery/charger serial numbers, certificates of acceptance, etc. as determined by the individual finance company

The successful Senior Collection Analyst will have the following Key Accountabilities:

• Effective interfaces with end customers: provide information needed to ensure timely payment. Includes use of customer business systems to report information and/or enter invoices according to customer specification. Position interfaces in significant contact with all levels of the customer organization (CFO, CEO, etc.) and must be professional, tactful, and well-spoken at all times. Some travel may be required on an as-needed basis to support customer relationships and/or resolve open issues.
• Dispute and Problem Resolution between finance company and customer: Expedite payment by mediating between the outside customers, their finance companies, various internal company representatives, and dealers and recommend best course of action. Compel parties to an agreeable end result of payment. Includes meeting the special documentation requirements of finance companies.(master leases, signed schedules, serial numbers of ancillary equipment, certificates of acceptance, etc)
• Monitor incoming customer orders - ensure orders are released or held for building and shipping in a timely manner while maintaining our lease company guidelines regarding master leases, and credit line approvals.
• Reporting of receivable data, maintaining customer accounts, and participation in special projects and teams as required.

The successful Senior Collection Analyst will have the following Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years related experience in commercial collection, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or accounts receivable without a degree.
• Knowledge of Lease construction, language, and financing
• PC, Spreadsheet, Word Processing Experience
• HYG organizational knowledge or similar commercial business structure knowledge
• Customer Service Skills - Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing with customers; persuade customers to abide by terms of purchase orders and contracts for payment; and tactfully deal with disgruntled customers.
• Problem-Solving and Negotiation Skills - ability to identify and investigate discrepancies in customer payments, purchase order amounts, and customer contracts as they compare to invoiced amounts; and to get the involved parties to understand and correct the root cause of the discrepancy.
