Senior Buyer Job Title: Senior Buyer
Salary: 65k-110k Depending on Experience
Key Skills/Duties: Responsible for purchasing product and maintaining product inventory levels for multiple plant locations across the west coast

We are a west coast leader in manufacturing. We have been supplying cutting edge construction techniques for the last 30 years. Due to growth we are seeking a Senior Buyer who has experience with calculating purchasing needs based on current and past usage reports and market conditions.
What You Will Be Doing Purchases and maintains inventory levels at competitive prices
Understands the basics of risk management as it relates to commodity product groups
Maintains a positive attitude and exercises a strong sense of urgency
Ensures vendors are paid for purchases in a timely manner and resolves issues with accounts payables
Coordinates with other departments and business units to achieve desired goals
Assures that the product is delivered on schedule, at the negotiated price, and meets the quality standards of the company
Maintains timely control of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other documents to assure accurate retention of records
Reviews and tracks purchasing history to forecast future inventory needs and analyze performance
Negotiates contracts with vendors
Works well in a strong team environment
What You Need for this Position Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Microsoft Office suite is required
Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university or 3 (three) to 5 (five) years related experience in the industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience
