Job Description:

Data Acquisition Support Associates interact across the organization. They also communicate with suppliers, vendors, and various municipalities to ensure the timely pursuit and collection of data. Joining this group will provide an opportunity to work collaboratively to ensure the success of the entire team!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the timely pursuit and procurement of assessment and tax data from our various data suppliers throughout the US, including government agencies, their vendors, and third-party data suppliers, via proactive, cadence-driven communication (e-mail and phone)
  • Facilitate the resolution of data-related inquiries generated by our customers, users, and processing teams, and where feasible, provide recommendation and direction for the completion of said inquiries
  • Foster and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial, relationships with existing and new data suppliers
  • Continuously maintain and update the scheduling and reporting tools used internally and by other users
  • Coordinate with other data acquisition, production, and quality teams as needed
  • Support on-time product and data delivery to internal and external customers
  • Capture and maintain comprehensive documentation of contact info, pricing, existing legal restrictions, and approvals
  • Assist in cost and benefit analysis for review by department management prior to data purchase
  • Document and track status of data. Communicate status with internal departments
  • Lead projects and sub-projects
  • Solve problems, identify solutions, and provide solutions

Job Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • Previous Mortgage Industry experience with 1-3 years of Team Leadership or Management experience
  • Experience with real estate, tax servicing, and assessment data
  • High level of customer-focus and customer service
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
  • Strong team-orientation and team-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and deliver on commitments
  • Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment (occasional overtime required)
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and business skills
  • Professional attitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to change according to client demands
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft suite of tools (Access, Word, Excel), Salesforce, Jira, E-mail, Internet, and general office equipment
  • Strong analytical and independent problem-solving skills
  • Decision making experience, ability to gather data, analyze information and act accordingly
  • Self-directed, curious, and assertive regarding team goals

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
