The senior associate director for admissions reports to the director of the Office of Admissions and Recruitment, who sets the vision for UW-Madison's application review process. This position is among a team of four senior associate directors in the office and one of several new positions that were developed as a result of a recently-completed organizational assessment. The senior associate director for admissions will provide critical strategic leadership for the application review processes, which includes more than 65,000 domestic and international first-year and transfer applications, annually. This growing number represents nearly double the number of applications as compared to five years ago. Guided by the vision of the director of admissions and recruitment, this position is responsible for long-term planning for the Application Review unit, working collaboratively with team members within their unit, as well as across the office, the enrollment division and campus to develop and implement sustainable and efficient systems and processes.

The senior associate director for recruitment, outreach and communications reports to the director of the Office of Admissions and Recruitment, who sets the vision for UW-Madison's local, national, and international recruitment strategy. This position is among a team of four senior associate directors in the office and one of several new positions that were developed as a result of a recently-completed organizational assessment. The senior associate director for recruitment, outreach and communications will provide critical strategic leadership for undergraduate recruitment, outreach, communications and events. Guided by the director's vision, this position is responsible for long-term planning, working collaboratively to develop and implement sustainable and efficient plans, systems and processes with management team members within their unit and across the office and division, as well as with units/schools/colleges across campus. The senior associate director will lead the strategy, coordination and oversight of the outreach & recruitment and marketing & communications teams in alignment with the vision of the director, and guided by divisional and campus priorities.
