RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, the global leader in its professional services industry, is seeking a Senior Accountant for its New York, NY headquarters. As a dominant leader in its space, this company has a long track record of growth and stability. Benefits are incredible and include 401k match + health & dental & vision coverage. This role with report up into 3 world class mentors. The work schedule is hybrid but will include 3 work from home days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday).Duties will include:- Account analysis
- Account reconciliation
- Financial reporting
- Preparing financial statements including profit and loss statements
- Follow and improve accounting controls including SOX controls as they are an SEC filer
- Posting journal entries
- Maintain general ledger accounts and reports
- Month end close
- Year end close
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA required
- At least 3 years accounting or financial audit experience
- Professional services experience a plus
- Advanced excel skills a plus
- ERP experience like SAP, JD Edwards, etc. a plus
- Advanced degree a plus
- Public accounting experience a plus
- Big 4 experience a plus
- Corporate accounting experience a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
