What we need:

Responsible for Flooring North America Accounting including updating control process documents for groups through the organization, provide support from a controls perspective to ensure continued compliance and best practices are in place along with general accounting duties, month end close tasks, Journal Entry preparation, preparation of moderate to complex G/L account reconciliations, periodic and ad hoc reporting, and internal and external audit support. Will also be involved in the creation, running, and monitoring of RPA bots and support the associated governance structure to ensure compliance across the segment.

What you'll do:

• Prepare journal entries and general ledger account reconciliation for accounts with greater complexity that are managed by the department. Research and document financial fluctuations.
• Provide analysis of assigned accounts and financial impact of transactions.
• Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual reporting.
• Gather and prepare audit documentation.
• Supports departmental goals and projects successfully.
• Remain current on department operating processes and compliance guidelines. Ensures work is done in accordance with processes, guidelines, and applicable regulations.
• Assists and provides guidance to junior team members as needed.

What you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline. Master's degree preferred.
• 3-4 years of job specific work experience with demonstrated professional growth and achievement, experience should include:
• Technical skill in finance and accounting.
• Experience developing effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems.
• Experience working effectively in teams
• Experience with accounting and database systems including: SAP, AS400, Excel, and PowerPoint. Reporting tool experience such as Business Objects, PowerBI, SSAS, SAC preferred.

• Ability to research more complex accounting topics and draw relevant conclusions to present to management.
