RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client seeking a Senior Accountant in Annapolis, MD.Responsibilities:

• Producing journals that inform monthly P/L and balance sheet activity
• Preparing accounting/reconciliations of high volume accounts
• Assisting in budget and forecast preparation process
• Assisting in accounting system implementation
• Providing a layer of review over billing/payables weekly batches on subsidiaries
• Identifying business risks and accounting issues
• Preparing cash journals
• Handling debt entries and schedules
• Preparing month end expense accruals
• Maintaining fixed assets
• Assisting in variance analysis

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidates qualifying for this position will have similar experience along with the skills and abilities to perform the duties mentioned
• Any relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
