Basic Job Functions:
The requirements for this position are to efficiently control inbound / outbound truck flow and interacting with all drivers and visitors for Vulcraft Utah. Other responsibilities include effectively communicating with other departments and divisions, general office tasks, and other assigned duties
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successfully complete the EMR training within 1 year 1-2 years clerical work
Detailed Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated commitment to Safety
- Must possess a can-do attitude, which is to perform work in a positive, pleasant, and cooperative manner
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to perform in a fast paced, team environment with a high degree of accuracy
- Willingness to comply with an established work schedule, which may include rotating shifts, weekends, vacation coverages, and holidays
- Must be computer literate. Excel and Word strengths needed Possess good decision making and problem-solving skills
- Must possess strong math and analytical skills
- Strong customer service skills
Preferences:
- EMR/EMT Certification or willingness to obtain
