The Security Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading the Information and Data Security needs and requirements of our IT organization. In conjunction with our CIO, responsible for strategic oversight of IT Security and Compliance across all areas of IT. In conjunction with IT team management, responsible for strategic vision, scoping of requirements, incident response, implementation, and operation of all security and compliance systems and processes. Work in conjunction with IT management to safeguard the organization from intrusion, security threats, security weaknesses, software bugs and exploits. Responsible for creation and maintenance of all documentation related to security and compliance. Work with leadership across the organization, including executives and C-level leaders, to evaluate new tools, new processes, and strategize on the systems, tools, enhancements, and changes needed to meet the company’s needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Define and scope IT Security requirements

· Create and execute all IT and Data Security related strategies enhancing the reliability and security of IT systems, projects and data.

· Work with other team managers to maintain security and compliance across all systems.

· Oversight, planning and execution of any required vulnerability audits, penetration tests or forensic IT audits or related investigations, along with tracking issues to completion and updating policies and systems as needed.

· Work closely with IT management and staff, business partners, and outside companies as needed to ensure security and compliance is maintained and evaluated.

· Work to train or develop training/training systems for both IT staff and other company personnel on security and security awareness.

· Achieve and maintain compliance in required areas, such as basic PII and PCI, and any other relevant regulations/standards/policies.

· Keep IT management informed of security exploits, breaches, new industry standards, regulations, and all matters security related in the IT field.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, a related technical discipline or equivalent work experience.

· 3+ years overall IT security experience in an enterprise organization.

· Knowledge of PCI and PII compliance regulations, standards and restrictions.

· Knowledge and experience with IT security related hardware, software, and services

· Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, activities and tasks under time constraints.

· Ability to interface with executives and stakeholders of all levels on technologies in their area.

· Ability to facilitate productive meetings and drive outcomes.

· Demonstrated ability to solve problems, determine appropriate actions and complete projects with minimal direction.

· Ability to work collaboratively with project teams from diverse backgrounds in different geographic locations

· Highly organized and able to work independently and efficiently

· Excellent communications skills – both verbal and written

· Detail-oriented with solid analytical and problem-solving ability

· Demonstrated experience assembling, organizing, and analyzing information, extracting insights, and communicating findings

· Ability to use and adapt to changing technology trends.
