Under the general supervision of the Chief of Police and Security, this position will report to the Operations Manager. Responsible for installing, servicing and maintaining all components of the Integrated Security System, including, but not limited to, electronic security panels, filed devices such as door hardware, card readers and contacts, and closed circuit television cameras.

Qualifications
High school diploma, GED or equivalent or vocational school. 2+ years of experience in a similar role working with access control systems, automatic doors and physical door hardware and low voltage systems.

Required skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Computer ability and skills
  • Keep abreast of changes in the field; partake in formal training programs to maintain that standard
  • Recognize, acknowledge, respect and effectively interact with different ages and cultures
  • Recognize and exercise appropriate body mechanics to move children, adults, and equipment.
  • Asbestos Project Worker Training
  • Knowledge of Federal, State and Local Building, Fire and Life Safety Codes
  • Knowledge of Pipe Bending
  • Knowledge of "Old Work" and "New Work" Wiring
  • Knowledge of AC and DC Circuits and Troubleshooting
