Baer is looking for SAP Transportation Management SME for a 9 month Federal Remote Project.

Title: SAP Transportation Management SME
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 9 Months
Rate: All Inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage SAP TM implementation projects within the Federal DOD environment.
• Configure SAP TM to align with transportation management requirements, including freight planning, execution, and settlement.
• Work closely with DOD personnel, transportation carriers, and logistics providers to coordinate transportation activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP TM with other DOD systems and processes.
• Ensure transportation operations comply with Federal DOD regulations and security protocols.
• Implement and maintain transportation security measures to safeguard sensitive DOD cargo and information.
• Analyze transportation processes and identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains.
• Recommend and implement best practices to enhance transportation management within the Federal DOD.
• Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on SAP TM functionalities and processes.
• Develop documentation and user guides to assist with system usage and troubleshooting.
• Generate reports and KPIs to monitor transportation performance and compliance.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with SAP Transportation Management (TM) implementation and configuration.
• Experience working within the Federal DOD or similar government contracting environment is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of transportation management processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• All roles are part time, 20 hours a week, either meeting/workshop hours will be 9-1 or 1-5, 5 days a week
