Position Summary

ITT C'treat has been manufacturing and supporting high quality reverse osmosis watermakers and packaged water systems for the offshore oil and gas industry for over forty years. With hundreds of systems installed around the world, we are a leading provider of fresh water for offshore applications. Our desalination systems use proven technology and components that have been demonstrated in the field for decades. Our equipment is simple to maintain offshore and operates reliably with little attention. When measured by the cost of water produced (pennies per gallon), C'treat builds the most economical desalination systems available.

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer in the Lafayette, LA area who will be responsible for growing and managing both direct and indirect sales for C'treat globally.
Essential Responsibilities

Essential duties of this role include but are not limited to:

- Continue to build customer intimacy with existing customers while capturing new customers and market share in systems, service, parts, and rentals.

- Identify and pursue opportunities to diversify and penetrate new onshore markets related to the heavy industrial or petrochemical industries.

- Focus on selling and renting equipment to UHP surface prep service providers.

- Expand our rental business, particularly in the Gulf states.

- Expand sales on C'treat's Sodium Hypochlorite generator and get on approved vendor lists for both end user and EPC customers.

- Review technical and commercial specifications, drawings, plans and other customer documents.

- Manage our network of overseas representatives and distributors to keep them focused on our products and expanding our global footprint.

- Partner with the Engineering, Project Management, and Production teams to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and exceed customer expectations.
Position Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or equivalent experience in offshore market

- 5-10 years of successful outside sales

- Capable of reviewing and understanding typical offshore equipment specifications and proposing appropriate solutions

- Displays a high degree of independence and drive to meet objectives

- Must be willing and able to travel locally to customers in the Gulf of Mexico and Gulf states as well as internationally when required
