Position Summary: The RHI (Rural Health Impact) CHAP FS, APP/CHAP Trainer works as a team member in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings to provide training and field supervision support as assigned. This role will liaison with the Training Center and Field Supervision to design and provide CME opportunities, skills competencies for all session level CHAs, Coping Skills courses, design and provide orientation for Supervisor Instructors, organize and manage CHA/P retreats and educational conferences, complete PSLNs and Field Follow ups as needed, and other duties as assigned. All instruction related to CHA/P practice is to follow statewide Community Health Aide Curriculum, Manual, and Standards; travels to village clinics as needed to assess student progress and conduct training. Provides Continuing Medical Education (CME) instruction to Health Aides as requested by the Director and approved. Assists the Health Aide Training Coordinator and CHAP Director with projects and in committee as requested.
