Summary:
Supports clinical and scientific research in the laboratory of Dr. Pawel Kalinski; assists with or conducts experiments and procedures under the direction of a supervisor; presents findings including preliminary interpretation for further review; inputs clinical and research information into the designated database system; conducts routine maintenance of equipment and machinery as needed.

Starting salary for this position is $45,960 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience

1. Master's degree in a clinical or scientific discipline; or
2. Bachelor's degree in a clinical or scientific discipline and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in a laboratory setting.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will have basic knowledge of Immunology; specialized lab techniques such as flow cytometry, ELISpot, PCR and ELISA; experience maintaining long-term cell cultures of primary human cancer cells and cancer cell lines; basic microscopy experience; experience with meticulous documentation practices in the lab setting. They will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as pat of a team with meticulous documentation practices in a laboratory setting.
