Perform a variety of complex technical duties involved in conducting laboratory tests, experiments and determinations in support of Duke University research operations.

Job Duties:

Perform mouse experiments: handle, anesthetize, monitor, and do organ harvest.

Perform assays on mouse and human samples, including assays of ATP and/or cytokines. Perform cytospin and other cell counting and phenotyping assays.

Analyze data and perform quality control procedures. Communicate findings with team members including PI.

Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Education/Training:

Work generally requires a bachelor's degree in botany, biology, zoology, psychology or other directly related scientific field.

Experience:

Surgical technical skill is an advantage but not mandatory, can be trained.
