Primary Purpose of Position:The purpose of this position is to supplement the Power Electronics team. Candidates are expected to provide knowledge in control systems hardware and software development and deliver expertise in the integration of embedded controls in experimental prototype power electronic systems. The Embedded Systems Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing control solutions for real-time applications predominantly used to control power electronic converters and equipment. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and proficient in various real-time operating systems. The candidate must be proficient with simulation tools such as MATLAB Simulink and/or PSIM while having software development experience in C/C++ and FPGA programming.
