Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Scientific Technician

Position Type: Full Time, Contract
Duration: : 12 Months
Location: Waltham, MA

Shift/Schedule :Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

As a Scientific Technician, your responsibilities:

Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly organized, and motivated individual who will work on-site within the BPD (biopharmaceutical product development)-Molecular Science team at Waltham, MA location. Primary responsibilities would include but not limit to molecular cloning, small-scale RNA production and purification.
The ideal candidate will work closely with molecular biologists, RNA biologists, process engineers and chemists to support the development of self-amplifying mRNA (sa-mRNA) platform technology and process.

• Organization, multitasking, attention to details and adherence to timelines are critical.
• Support team members and deliver lab responsibilities as assigned.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• B.S./MS degree in molecular biology or related field with 0-3 years of industry experience.
• Hands on experience with molecular biology techniques, for example electrophoresis, enzymatic reactions, in vitro transcription, nucleic acid purifications

Preferred / Nice to Have Qualifications:

• Experienced in mammalian cell culture, cell-based assays and Florescence/Luminescence-based readouts is preferred
• Experience in developing, validating, optimization and deploying Cell and Molecular Biology based methods is highly desired.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: Between $48.00 - $50.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
