The Repair Depot Tech ensures that deadlines are met by performing circuit board and console repairs in a fast-paced environment. They support the Team's standard logistics and inventory processes. The Repair Depot Tech is responsible for ensuring that all repairs are completed both timely and accurately. The Tech must demonstrate strong trouble shooting and clear attention to detail in order to achieve a high yield in all repairs. This position is responsible for communicating with other departments such as service and engineering. Initiates and participates in continuous improvement initiatives for service parts.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Evaluate and troubleshoot equipment consoles and circuit boards as efficiently as possible
  
• Follow processes to adequately diagnose the failure
  
• Utilize tools and software to repair consoles to fully functioning state
  
• Complete Shipping and Receiving Transactions in Oracle: request internal orders, process UPS orders, complete shipping documentation for all warehouses
  
• Will act as a Liaison between the 3PLs and Engineering support staff
  
• Recommend changes to processes or services to fulfill customer needs
  
• All other duties as assigned
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1 to 2 years Electrical Console or Computer Repair experience required
  
  • Understand AC/DC Theory
    
  • Excellent soldering skills
    
• Ability to understand assembly drawings and technical blueprints
  
• Strong written and oral communication skills
  
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  
• Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or Repair preferred
  
• Life Fitness Console knowledge preferred, not required
  
• Multilingual (Spanish / English) preferred, not required
