Job Description

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. is seeking a Receptionist for our 4950 Genesee Street, Suite 100, Buffalo, NY 14225 office. You will be responsible for answer incoming calls; greet visitors and direct clients and visitors to appropriate individuals. Provide clerical assistance to various departments at the direction of management.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls and transfer calls to appropriate individuals
  • Greet clients and visitors to office with warmth and professionalism
  • Receive mail, stamp with date, and distribute to correct parties
  • Prepare outgoing mail with label and accurate postage
  • Order supplies
  • Pull folders for monthly billings
  • Scanning/filing as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of front end, conference/training rooms
  • Place calls for building maintenance
  • Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor
Qualifications:
  • Basic knowledge of telephone equipment is preferred
  • Ability to professionally communicate with co-workers and clients
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration
  • Read, write, and understand plans and direction given in the English language
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
