Starting Rate: $20+/hour

Reporting directly to the Shipping and Receiving department leader, the RECEIVER is responsible for performing duties related to performing receiving functions; generating receipts, weighing and verifying inbound shipments of raw materials for quantity, weight, and conformance of materials; entering data into ERP system; managing and controlling incoming locations; work with quality department to ensure all material conforms and is controlled.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Unload/load carriers
  • Identify materials
  • Inspect inbound shipments
  • Prepare goods for storage.
  • Goods receipt using SAP software
  • Transfer materials using SAP software
  • Reconcile discrepancies
  • Cycle count

REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma / GED equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience material handling in similar industry.
  • Experience with goods receipting into any ERP/Warehouse system
  • Schedule must be flexible. Shift times are adjusted periodically; additional work hours are periodically required to accommodate business needs.

PREFERRED:
  • SAP/ SAPWM Experience
  • Forklift/Stand up experience
  • Experience handling hazardous materials / dangerous goods
  • Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, food or chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of learn manufacturing principals

The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

The candidate selected will have to qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
