Position is with a fifth largest banking institution in the United States. The company provides banking, investment, mortgage, trust, and payment services products to individuals, businesses, governmental entities, and other financial institutions. We are looking for Candidates with 2+ years of relevant experience along with new college graduates will be considered. Candidates should be able to navigate MS Office and demonstrate intermediate to advance MS Excel knowledge (pivot tables & VLOOKUP). Please share your updated copy of resume to apply.
Please note that as of today, the team will be in the office every Thursday at a minimum. Newly onboarded staff may be required to be in the office up to 5 days for the first month of their contract, depending on how quickly they can absorb the material. Equipment will be provided on the first day via in office setup.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Partners with their assigned Line of Business, other Risk/Compliance/Audit (RCA) professionals, and RCA Managers to, depending on their function, create, implement, maintain, review or oversee an effective risk management framework. Participates in projects and/or activities that ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Identifies gaps and inform solutions that minimize losses resulting from inadequate internal processes, systems or human errors. Identifies, responds and/or escalates risks as appropriate. Serves as a functional liaison between the Line of Business and the Lines of Defense.
Any education requirements? High school diploma or equivalent. BA/BS preferred.
3-5 hard skill sets: Beginner/Intermediate Excel and Outlook. Utilize multiple software user interfaces to compare various data points.
A typical day would involve working from a queue of customer profiles that require some level of data remediation. The remediation will be accomplished by leveraging information available from internal and external sources, and partnering with teams from outside of your immediate group when the required information is not readily available. Collaboration with team members from within your immediate group, including your immediate supervisor, will be strongly encouraged.
