As an integral part of our innovation team, the R&D Senior Scientist in Stable Isotope products contributes in developing new stable isotope chemistry technologies to enable commercialization of new high value products and services for new research areas and applications and will collaborate with our partners in product management, quality control, and production. This individual will ideate new product concepts, innovate solutions by utilizing the principles of process chemistry and chemical engineering, and create workable and sustainable production know-how with moderate independence. The R&D Senior Scientist is expected to set a high standard for quality, follow good housekeeping practices & business ethics, and comply with all safety regulations. Further responsibilities include: Stay connected with the latest development in process chemistryDevelop hands-on expertise for process chemistryContribute to development of technical solutionsValidate technical prototypesDocument all the innovation workSupport product launch and post-launch follow upsTransfer workable solutions to designated production groupProvide needed technical support to productionCollaborate with different departments such as safety, quality, production to introduce new products & processesServe as a technical liaison with the other R&D or technical groupsFollow guidance from the Principal Scientist

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Chemistry, or other life science discipline 3+ years of postdoctoral/industrial experienceORMaster's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or other life science discipline 6+ years of industrial experience in organic chemistry and/or process chemistry

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of NMR and MS analysis R&D experience in stable isotope chemistry and biosynthesis innovation fieldSignificant experience with Schlenk-line, glove box, and air sensitive chemistry techniquesChemical manufacturing/process development experienceKnowledge of design of experiment methodology Excellent written and presentation skillsHighly knowledgeable with modern chemistry methodology - with a strong focus on synthetic organic chemistry, biosynthesis, and new reaction explorationExperience with the tech transfer process to scale-up teamsExperience handling high temperature and pressure equipment
