Quality Specialist




* Quality Specialists are responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and proposing measures to correct or improve the company's final products and processes in order to meet the established quality standards
* Ensure the product quality by evaluating the product based on applicable specifications and/or Customer requirements (conduct product and process audits and report the results)
* Identify and document nonconformances, conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective action(s) to prevent recurrence
* Recommend, implement and direct others to modify operational methods and practices to enhance department effectiveness
* Provide support for the execution and maintenance of the Quality System processes in the respective departments
* Reduce risk and loss (through audits, rework and handling of nonconformances)
* Assist management with coordinating training to procedure revisions
* Monitor the implementation of procedures



Qualifications



High school diploma or equivalent

Strong critical reasoning, decision making and problem solving skills

Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

General working knowledge of Excel and Word

Strong attention to detail



*Previous experience in a Quality role is a plus

*Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis is a plus

*Drawing interpretation is a plus

*Quality certifications are a plus
