Hybrid Schedule: Our Marlborough team has transitioned back to working in the office on a regular hybrid schedule. At present, most team members are expected in the office an average of three (3) days a week. Decisions regarding any changes to our hybrid schedule will be communicated as we continue to closely monitor COVID-19 with employee safety is our priority.

Helen of Troy's internship is a 10-week program (June 2023-August 2023), which requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. You will have the opportunity to network with executives, give back through planned community events and participate in fun social events with your intern peers. Your peers and managers will support and improve your

leadership skills and experience.

What you will be doing:

This intern will work within the Regulatory, Clinical and Quality team on specific projects. Upon completion of the internship, you will become proficient with all the operational aspects of bringing a medical and consumer product to market. Additionally, you will review and prepare work you're doing and timelines, following up on key dates and activities. The Quality Intern will participate in planning meetings with multi-functional teams and work on formal presentations for Executive Groups.

  • Data Analytics: Work with the Business Analytics Manager to analyze product related data using groundbreaking AI and other techniques. Tasks will involve pre-processing and coordinating data and working with the team to come up with compelling conclusions.
  • Quality Engineering: Work with the quality engineering team on black belt projects and other product related issues to support their endeavors in addressing key quality issues related to return rates and product improvements.
  • Supplier Quality: Work with the supplier quality manager to assist with processing and prioritizing data to support her efforts in supplier qualification, scorecard and improvement.
  • Clinical Trial Management: Collaborate with clinical manager in supporting any clinical trials and documents required to be completed.
  • Pre-market: Support the pre-market team in creating MDR files and other submissions as the need arises.
  • Post Market and Quality Management Systems: Assist the documentation coordinator and post market specialist with any special projects.
  • Coaching, mentorship, and professional guidance from expert performers and leaders.
  • After the internship and graduation, consideration for career opportunities at various locations.


Skills needed to be successful in this role:
  • Must be organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Deadline oriented and outstanding follow-through
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and a desire to show strong ownership of assigned responsibilities
  • Curiosity about consumer goods and product development


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Full-Time undergraduate or graduate student (Must be at least a rising Sophomore of a four-year degree program)
  • Major / field of study related to applicable internship (i.e. Engineering, Science)
  • Outstanding Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint
  • Able to commit to one day in the office weekly after training
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
