Job Summary
Manages all phases of the Quality Control Department in order to maintain the highest possible quality standards. Manages a variety of safety programs, policies and procedures to ensure OSHA and company compliance. Ensures efficiency, cost effectiveness and accuracy within Quality and Safety.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)
These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation.
* Oversees operational and quality control services to ensure work is performed in accordance with customer
specifications and requirements.
* Analyzes quality procedures to ensure colors, visual characteristics and dimensional aspects are accurately verified.
* Responsible for departmental employee relations including training and supervision.
* Evaluates quality levels and recommends corrective actions where necessary.
* Responsible to meet with customers to review product quality needs and to conduct quality inspections.
* Investigates accidents to determine root causes, contributing factors and ensures corrective actions are implemented.
Prepares detailed report with all information gathered and presents verbal and written investigation findings.
* Champions culture change, safety programs, employee engagement to promote a safety environment. Leads monthly
safety meetings and provides safety topics for toolbox talks.
* Partners with leadership to establish ongoing coordination, communication and/or team problem solving between
departments or functional areas for quality and safety.
Other (Non-Essential) Functions
Includes functions which are normally performed by persons holding this title. However, these functions may be reassigned to other employees as part of a "Reasonable Accommodation" under the ADA.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions
* Regular exposure to manufacturing environment including but not limited to exposure to dust, dirt, high noise levels,
chemicals and variations in temperature.
* The position requires the incumbent to grasp objects utilizing manual dexterity including hand/finger, hand/eye and
foot coordination, the utilization of color vision and depth perception.
* This position requires the incumbent to experience periods of prolonged walking, standing or sitting, may lift up to
40lbs., carry, climb, bend, extend and reach.
* This position requires the incumbent to regularly utilize written and verbal communication skills, including active
listening.
