The Quality Control Analyst will perform a variety of Quality Assurance and Control Tests / Inspections to include sand system testing and metals testing. This testing regime is to ensure compliance with organizational requirements and regulatory, quality, and reliability standards.

The position available will be either 2nd or 3rd shift at our Mueller Brass Foundry location.

There may be some movement in the future and as Mueller is building a brand-new state of the art Foundry. Candidates must have ability and willingness to work overtime (some daily & weekends) and have the flexibility to adjust hours to support production needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Computer systems fluency, data analysis and charting.

  • Ability to run mechanical and electronic equipment and inspection devices. Those devices are used to validate that our Brass is within Chemistry and Physical (Tensile/Yield/Elongation) requirements as well as our Sand Systems are supplying properly conditioned (moisture, compatibility, grain size, clay content, etc.) Green Sand to our Molding equipment.

  • Detail oriented, timely completion of tasks, able to keep records, self-disciplined and ability to make and stand by decisions.


Required Experience and/or Education:

  • Associates degree or Technical Institute degree/certificate. (HS Diploma or GED would be acceptable with experience)

  • 3 years progressive work-related experience with demonstrated proficiency in the discipline / technology / process related to the position.

  • Experience in a Foundry environment preferred but not required.
