KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for achieving sustained, profitable growth by managing the quality of products and services, to consistently satisfy or exceed the expectations of Alluxa's customers. The Quality Assurance Supervisor is also responsible for implementing the requirements of our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and will continuously improve the effectiveness of this system using industry best practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establishing departmental policies, processes and procedures in accordance with company goals and associated standards
• Problem Solving: (8D) / SCAR/ RTV management: Effective and timely containment and closure
• Participating in the development and continuous improvement of suppliers Quality Assurance processes to ensure high quality and compliance
• Performing and managing/inspections/ audits / associated corrective actions
• Performance Reporting (Metrics definition and submission)
• Recruit, train and develop the supplier quality assurance team

ABILITY to:

• Solve Complex Problems:8D, 5Y, SCARs, RTV
• Make decisions based on data and facts.
• Use Microsoft office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Explorer SharePoint
• Consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
• Manage multiple responsibilities.
• Work independently with minimal direction and/or supervision
• Interact with external customers and vendors
• Work in a fast paced, environment to accomplish challenging goals on time and within budget
• Display a high level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness with strong work ethic
• Have excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
• Lead (up and down the organization), create and work within cross functional team environment
• Adapt to changes in priorities and goals
• Maintain superb attention to detail

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree or above in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 2-5 years relevant industry experience

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE of:

• Experience managing ISO 9000 systems
• QMS IT support systems encompassing, ERP, & MES
• Autonomous technology supply base and general supplier quality control attributes for mechanical and electrical components and parts
• Lean/Six Sigma Qualifications
• Mechanical machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
• Calibration methods and techniques
