A DAY IN THE LIFE

Enthalpy Analytical, Inc. located in Richmond, VA is affiliated with Montrose Environmental Group,a high-growth Environmental Services company offering (i) Measurement and Analytical services and (ii) Environmental Resiliency and Sustainability services to a diverse range of clients in industry and government throughout the United States and abroad. Our qualified engineers, scientists, technicians, associates and policy experts are proud of our ability to objectively help industry, the public and regulators work constructively together on environmental opportunities.

Our Tobacco Laboratory in Richmond, VA isseeking an Quality Analyst I. Analyst I ensures data quality by reviewing laboratory data, workflows, documentation, and procedures with the goal of assuring data of known quality and accuracy to meet the expectations of our clients by efficient review of defensible data on time. Strong organizational skills are a must for this position.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Review of customer data to ensure its compliance with Enthalpy Analytical, LLC (Enthalpy) QMS, reference methods, and the customers' requirements
  • Comply with Enthalpy's Quality Assurance Program and other policies
  • Comply with Enthalpy's Health and Safety Plan
  • Other duties as assigned
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associates degree or higher in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 1+ years') or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Working knowledge of analytical methods, analytical instruments, general lab practices and lab safety
  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, table and graph generation and use of applicable computer software
  • Ability to collaborate with lab team members to gather, interpret and consolidate data, generate documentation and reports
  • Ability to work independently, managing multiple responsibilities
  • Well organized and have an attention to detail
  • Editorial and proofreading skills
  • Must be flexible in work schedule (including Saturday) and able to work overtime
