RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Columbia, MD that is seeking a QA Manager.Responsibilities:- Develop, maintain, and audit an overall quality program for a program which meets the quality and service needs of the customers (QS9000, ISO9000)
- Coordinate activities of the quality, engineering, test and documentation functions and personnel, training and educational programs for team members, Cost of Quality Program
- Ensure all Statistical Process Control activities are complete and accurate
- Maintain document control programs
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS degree in an applicable discipline or equivalent experience with 8 years of directly related experience
- Knowledge of customer base including quality standards and personal computers
- Candidate must have a working knowledge of Quality Assurance systems including inspection, process control, non-conforming material, and contract conformance
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and MIL-Q9858
- Candidate must be able to analyze manufacturing and Quality System processes and determine root cause and corrective action, as well as determine effectiveness or corrective action process
- Candidate must be able to effectively interface with all facets of contracts, design, manufacturing, and inspection
- Will possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and be capable of producing spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel, as well as merge information into Microsoft PowerPoint
- Software Quality Assurance or Reliability Assurance knowledge a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
