We are expanding our multi-family portfolio in the Chico area and looking for a Project Manager to help operate multi-million dollar projects within our office. This is a very hands on role with numerous commercial, multifamily, and agricultural/industrial projects already underway and more to come.
What You Will Be Doing - Prepare budgets at appropriate milestones and intervals.
- Evaluate bids and buy-out subcontracts.
- Manage project team in collaboration with superintendents.
- Resolve contractual issues that arise with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
- Develop, maintain, and manage the project schedule.
- Display professional attributes that enhance the image of the company with clients, tenants, owners, designers, and contractors.
- Review plans and specifications to ensure they meet project design requirements, building code and budget.
- Make sure all staff has the proper licensing and meets the company's standards throughout the project.
What You Need for this Position - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field of study
- 5+ years of GC-level experience in commercial construction (preferably, with demonstrated experience on projects up $20-25 MIL and local building experience)
- 3 years minimum in a Project Management role
- Strong technical understanding of construction, architectural design, and engineering.
- Strong abilities with Excel and MS Project or other similar project management software.
