Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of the project are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and budget parameters by performing the following duties.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
  • Ensures timely and concise communication with internal and external customers while maintaining accurate electronic and hard copy project records.
  • Reviews project proposals or plan to determine time frame, budget limitations, and procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, procurement of materials, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project.
  • Establishes work plan for each phase of the project, and arranges for assignment of project personnel.
  • Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve constraints.
  • Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.
  • Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in project management plus 1 - 3 years of experience in the curtain wall industry and construction project management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
