Project Management Consultant (Bethesda, MD)

CohnReznick, one of the nation's fastest growing public accounting and business advisory services firms, is seeking a management consultant in the Bethesda, MD - Washington DC metro area (virtual acceptable). The candidate should possess excellent analytical, communication, time management, and multi-tasking skills with the ability to work under tight timelines in order to meet client needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Document, implement, maintain, and deliver management solutions to internal facing and external clients;
  • Assist in utilizing various operational and financial reporting models to support internal and external reporting needs;
  • Analyze and pull data to proactively identify operational bottlenecks and ensure data quality;
  • Research methods to assist with issue resolution and process improvement initiatives;
  • Monitor and report upon engagement action items, schedules, budgets, and resource needs;
  • Prepare and review client and subcontractor invoices, as well as coordinate with senior management to manage client collections;
  • Communicate progress of projects, problems, and resolutions to clients and senior management; and
  • Communicate and interact with government officials and stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree required;
  • 1-2 years' experience in a relevant industry/consulting role:
  • Exceptional client service skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships;
  • Ability to multi-task, work effectively within a team and communicate appropriately via multiple communication channels
  • Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, Project);
  • Proficiency with the use of collaboration tools (i.e. Microsoft SharePoint and Teams); and
  • Employment is contingent on the applicant's ability to clear a background check.
  • Open to pursuing PMP certification
