General Overview:

The Project Analyst II for eCare Operations and Reporting will contribute to the success and implementation of key departmental and organizational programs, and the operational reporting needs for the MGH eCare Support, Training, and Informatics department.

The Project Analyst II will report directly to the MGH eCare Support and Training Director, with an indirect reporting relationship to the Senior Project Specialist for eCare Operations and Reporting, who will provide day-to-day oversight.

This position will require an individual who can successfully work both independently, and as a member of various project teams. Work assignments may include specific project tasks, project related activities and small, independent projects. The Project Analyst II will ensure that project deliverables are successfully produced within the stated timeline. The projects will span all work areas of the hospital: inpatient, outpatient, clinical and administrative functions.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Works as a member of the project team completing various tasks to meet the project's goals and objectives.

Collaborates well with clinical and administrative departments and various MGH eCare team members to produce results, through participation in the Division Support program.

Presents project status reports and summaries to various stakeholders as requested.

Acts as Epic Cogito (Reporting Workbench) subject-matter expert for the department, MGH stakeholders, and end users. Creates and runs Reporting Workbench reports as needed and provides demonstrations of Epic reporting functionality.

Assists with the creation and distribution of operational Service Now, Tableau, and other departmental reports.

Joins the Distributed Build program and becomes a key contributor and builder of Reporting Workbench requests for the MGH family.

Creates best practice workflows for departmental resources such as MS Teams, SharePoint, the MGH eCare website, and other internal shared documentation.

Contributes to a high-quality service experience for internal and external customers.

Follows service management and/or project management methodologies to deliver high quality work and bring swift resolution to end user issues.

Understands clinical and reporting workflows in a variety of clinical areas.

Develops a technical understanding of Mass General Brigham's Epic reporting build and explains to end users.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

Possible local travel to Mass General Brigham sites. May need to work in patient care areas.

General day hours with flexibility to meet the demands of the position as business needs dictate.

May require occasional travel for external training.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk; or hear; use hands to finger; handle; or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop; kneel; or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and depth perception.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or IT.

1-5 years of project work or relevant experience.

Epic certification desired. Certification in Epic Cogito (Reporting Workbench) a plus.

A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements.
