A leading Construction Management firm - What makes them an industry leader? Well they have been in business over 100 years', Based in CT, with offices in NY, TX, FL, and overseas. A strong pipeline of active and future projects across all sectors (high-end residential, commercial, schools, bridges, roads, shopping centers). They provide high quality construction and project management, design-build, and general contracting services.

You will be responsible for managing the accounts of various construction projects by creating detailed budgets, overseeing supplier contracts, evaluating production costs, and verifying income statements. You will work closely with the Construction Management team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with the project manager to develop a detailed, cost-effective budget for the project
• Performing accounting duties throughout the project, such as preparing invoices, estimating cash flow, and signing off on purchase orders
• Analyzing all transactions and working unforeseen costs into the budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 7-10 years experience working for a General Contractor as Project Accountant
• Familiarity with Viewpoint
