We are currently seeking a Production Operations Intern for the summer of 2023 at our Cretex Medical businesses in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support operational productivity by evaluating current manufacturing methods then developing and implementing project improvements.
  • Support warehouse operations to enhance inventory management.
  • The intern will assist with planning and procurement projects from scope definition through implementation.
  • Partner with other business segments: quality, engineering, customer service, sales/marketing, and finance as needed.
  • Assist with quality initiatives
  • Participates in required company and department meetings.
  • Maintains an organized work area (5S)
  • Supports and complies with the company's Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Operations and Supply Chain Management, Business Management or other Engineering degree program.
  • Demonstrated software application skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and team building skills to create effective working relationships with suppliers, and coworkers.
  • Desired course work including lean enterprise/six sigma, quality management, supply chain management, safety and risk management.
